About the event
Brynn Moir, Zero Waste McMinnville's Sustainability Consultant and member of The Plastic Project's Leadership Council, will present Back to Mac: New Reusable Food Containers Come to Mac Restaurants.
This presentation aims to highlight the importance of reusable take-out food containers as a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic containers. It will cover environmental impacts, benefits, and practical implementation strategies, such as Forever Ware.
As a community, we will discuss the prevalence of single-use containers in the food industry and their contribution to plastic pollution.
Brynn will also highlight successful implementations of reusable container programs in various cities and restaurants.
Join us for this presentation and discussion at 6:30pm in the Carnegie Room of the McMinnville Public Library on March 3rd.
This presentation is a part of Zero Waste McMinnville's Bubble Rap Speaker Series, where on the first Monday of each month we will meet to learn about sustainable and zero-waste practices…
