Zero Waste Mac
Food Share Booth
Do you have surplus produce from your backyard garden or farm? You can now bring it to the Zero Waste Mac Food Share Booth at the Downtown Farmer's Market in McMinnville every Thursday from 12-6pm!
Find us near the Info Booth, grab a tax deductible donation receipt, learn about additional ways to support food redistribution across our community, and support local vendors at the market!

Yamhill Food Project
Nutrition Oregon Campaign has a new program that is a simple way for neighbors to collect food for local food pantries six times each year. It’s also a way to build community!
How it Works:
-
Volunteers, called Neighborhood Coordinators, invite neighbors, friends, or family to become food donors.
-
Over two months, food donors fill a reusable bag with nonperishable foods
-
Every other month, Neighborhood Coordinators collect the filled bags from their food donors and deliver them to the collection site.

Habitat & Harvest
Yamhill Soil & Water Conservation District has created Habitat & Harvest, which is the District’s version of a backyard habitat, or microhabitat, program. The two goals of this program are to encourage residents to boost biodiversity and improve food security in Yamhill County.
Anyone in the county can participate, no matter what type of space you have! Container gardens, backyards, front yards, sidewalk green strips, and almost anywhere else you can grow a plant, are all welcome.

Surplus Food Donation Map
Do you have extra pantry/shelf-stable items to donate, but aren't sure where to go? Check out this map for locations where you can support food access for those in need across our community!
Each location includes details about what kind of surplus food they can accept. Contact each location for more information.
