Closing the loop on food waste and hunger

McMinnville Downtown Association's Farmers Market

Next to the Information Booth  | Starting June 4, 2026

Do you have extra produce at the end of market day?
Through the Zero Waste, Zero Hunger project, we found that transportation, staffing, and scheduling barriers can make it difficult for vendors to donate to larger food banks. This program was created to provide a faster, more flexible local solution that works for farmers market vendors.
โ€‹
Our volunteers make donating easy by helping connect farmers market vendors with local meal sites and food programs that can quickly use fresh produce in community meals — often the very same evening or weekend after the market.
