About the event

Did you know Food Waste Prevention week is April 7-13th? Jerin Dinkins from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality will discuss how we can prevent food waste, while saving money and the planet.

Preventing food waste is vital for protecting the environment and can also lead to significant financial savings. By being mindful of our food consumption and making small changes in our habits, we can contribute to a more sustainable future while also benefiting our wallets.

Join us at 6:30pm in the Carnegie Room of the McMinnville Public Library on April 7th.

This presentation is a part of Zero Waste McMinnville's Bubble Rap Speaker Series, where on the first Monday of each month we will meet to learn about sustainable and zero-waste practices happening in McMinnville. Talks start at 6:30pm at the McMinnville Public Library in the Carnegie Room.
